Point Lodge in the heart of the Garden Route is secluded and peaceful with panoramic views across the Lagoon to the Knysna Heads. The gracious double storey is owned and run by Ryk and Amanda Cloete.

Tranquil water laps at the garden wall at high tide. The sparkling pool is set in a beautiful garden with countless bird species.

Point Lodge is perfect accommodation for all travelers, honeymooners and small tour groups. The perfect base to explore Knysna and the many attractions of the Garden Route.

The welcoming dining room, lounge and ‘honesty’ bar have spectacular views across the lagoon. A delicious full English and\or continental breakfast is served in the sunny dining room. For evening dining there are many excellent restaurants in Knysna at which we will happily make reservations on our guest’s behalf.

We have nine individually decorated bedrooms, six lagoon facing, either from the room or private patio, and three garden facing rooms. All rooms are equipped with television, radio\clock, hairdryer, safe and tea and coffee making facilities. All bedrooms are non-smoking, but most have patios to accommodate smokers.

Point Lodge is the perfect base to explore the surrounding indigenous forests and trails, the spectacular Featherbed Nature Reserve and the beautiful lakes and beaches nearby. We have an extensive supply of information at our reception, and will gladly make reservations for guests on any of the local activities.

There is excellent birdwatching on the wetlands in front of the lodge and we also offer bicycle and canoe hire on the premises. We look forward to making your holiday as relaxing and enjoyable as possible!
