The Overstrand comprises four regions, being Hangklip-Kleinmond, Greater Hermanus, Stanford and Gansbaai. The area enjoys a mild climate with a dry summer and wet winter.  Betty's Bay is one of the four towns that make up the Hangklip-Kleinmond area. This unique area is also referred to as "Where Whales Play & Wild Flowers Bloom" Experience a place that offers something of interest for everyone!

With a wide variety of activities available, we cater for every mood. Transport to and from each activity can be arranged, along with a packed picnic for the day.

La Cachette is comprised of 5 charming bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom with shower.  Each room has its own balcony, spoiling guests with a magnificent view of the ocean and South Africa's national flower, the Protea.  Separate entrances and parking facilities in front of each room give guests privacy and easy access to their rooms. Facilities in each room include a television and tea & coffee-making facilities.  Make use of the binoculars provided to take in the stunning vistas. Braai facilities enable guests to enjoy a great South African braai (barbeque) overlooking the ocean.
