At the point of Africa lies our homeland which has one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. One of the most thrilling experiences is our wildlife and untouched grasslands. This is the prime spot for hunters from all over the world to come and face the hunting challenges and scenic beauty of the Groot Marica bushveld.

Madikwane Crocodile and Game Farm is about an hours’ drive from Sun City – just over an hour to Rustenburg and the Botswana Border and the Madikwe Game Reserve.

At Madikwena Crocodile Farm the fully serviced self-catering accommodation is nestled between the croc ranch and the fish dam. Madikwena Game Farm offers a fully equipped chalet and a tented camp nestling between Camelthorn trees. All the rooms have a beautiful view of the surrounding area.

The Nyala and Kudu chalets have two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one with shower and other with bath and shower).  Bedrooms are fitted with two three quarter beds.   Open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen.  Step out onto a large covered stoop, with braai, overlooking the quiet bush. Zebra the third chalet has three bedrooms and sleeps 8 people.

The camp can accommodate 12 people and is canopied by camel thorn trees.  This camp boasts a magnificent boma/braai area and is closely positioned to a waterhole with its own viewing deck. 

The camp offers one large tent and two under cover deck tents.  The large tent has 8 three quarter beds, a lock-up wardrobe, cupboard, dining room tables and comfortable chairs. Linen and towels are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, kettle and pots, tea and coffee.

Hardehout  firewood is provided  for the boma/braai.  Should you wish to make a bon fire additional wood can be purchased from the kiosk situated at the chalets.

Want a little privacy – then opt for the two separate under cover deck tents with en-suite bathrooms and their own wooden decks. For the more adventurous, try the bush shower(hot and cold water) and/or the open-air bush toilet. Our bar and restaurant are the ideal venue for weddings, family occasions and conferences. Relax at Crocodile Bar and enjoy abundant varieties of bird life and croc-viewing or fishing. Bar and restaurant open at appointed times.

The activities in the area include game viewing, bird watching and hiking. Cycling, hiking and scenic walking trails are available for those enthusiastic guests. Various tours to the herb nursery and commercial farms in the area can be arranged. More than 430 species of birdlife have been recorded. Game to view: steenbuck, duikers, eland, blouwildebees, impala, waterbuck, warthog, koedoe, redhartebees, blesbuck, jackals zebra, giraffe, ostrich, leopard and the many smaller mammels of the African bush. Hunting only during winter months.

Chalets from R1000 per night. Tariffs can be affected during hunting season, high season, long weekends etc
