Nestled on the confluence of the Komati and Crocodile Rivers, Komati River Chalets is perfectly placed for those wanting to explore Eastern South Africa, Mozambique and Swaziland. The lodge is situated on the southern border of the world renown Kruger National Park and is the ultimate nature lovers paradise.Both Mozambique and Swaziland are but a stones throw from the lodge providing the perfect base from which to explore both exotic destinations.
Our A.A.Highly recommended chalets are fully equipped for self-catering or B & B. All accommodation is set on the floodplain of the Komati River no more than 50 meters from the waters edge. The riverfront is beautifully kept and guests are able to enjoy relaxing walks along the river and through the riverbank forests.
Our 14 double and twin chalets with private patio all have bathrooms en suite. The 3 family cottages have 2 separate bedrooms each with en suite bathroom. The bedrooms lead into a shared living room. Provided in the chalets are the following amenities for your comfort and convenience: Kitchenette with full self catering equipment including, table top stove, fridge and Microwave oven Television with M-NET and SABC channels Air-conditioning Braai area in front of each chalet.
Komati River Chalets is easily accessable from the N4 highway, 11km from the Crocodile Bridge Gate of the Kruger National Park, 2km from the Mozambique Border and 65km from Swaziland.
You can do a leisurely river walk while enjoying the wonderful bird life, and the possibility of watching the Hippo in the river or even spotting a crocodile. Try your hand at tiger fishing, or enjoy a game of golf on a beautiful course close by. Self drive a day trip into the Kruger National Park, or a trip to Mozambique, of Swaziland.

For the adventurist go on a Rhino walking trail in a Pvt. game reserve, with highly qualified rangers. We also offer, day safaris to Maputo Mozambique, or you may wish a day in Swaziland, where our guide will take you to a Swazi village with tribal dancing, the well known candle factory and glass factory. Visit God's Window on our Panoramic tour of the Mpumalanga, Drakensberg mountains.
When you return from your daytrip, enjoy a sundowner up at the Ladies bar or a refreshing swim in our spakling pool.
