We are very central based only 13 km from the Kruger National Park and 3 km from Hazyview which is the  gateway to other world famous tourist attractions like Gods Window, the Panorama Route  etc. Our motto is to provide smart affordable accommodation to our guests on our guestfarm and to cover them with our hospitality.

Search for the big 5 in Open Safari Vehicles, day or night tours or own transport. Also exiting safaris to private game reserves and agriculture farms, hunting etc. Amazing nature wonders within the Drakensberg Mountains are Blyde River Canyon, Gods Window, Burkes Luck Pottholes, the historical old Gold Mine Town Pilgrims Rest, Lisbon Falls etc. For adrenaline fans, bungee jumping, Hot Balloon, river rafting, quad bikes, scenery flights, fishing etc. Other tourist attractions are the Sudwalla Caves, botanical gardens and cultural tours to next door rural area.

You will be staying in a stylish double story Self Catering cottage within the Smart Old Barn on the farm. It sleeps 4 -5 guests and comprises of 2 comfortable bedrooms with 2 bathrooms on the upper floor. The main bedroom has a double bed with own bathroom and the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds with separate bathroom. On ground level (Open plan) you'll find a spacious well equipped kitchen dinning room lounge with nice stoop and under cover braai. The cottage is well secured, save and private with spacious garden with lovely trees. There is also a pool when you need to cool down.

We have a self catering unit with 2 bedrooms - double Beds, 1 with single bed and double bed sleeper couch in lounge, 2 bathrooms, one with shower and separate toilet. Self-catering kitchen with tea and coffee facilities, fan and heather, lounge, TV, dining room, stoop with braai area and private swimming pool. There is a outdoor shower and garden. This unit is wonderful for family and friends.

There are 2 one bedroom units sleeping 2 - 4 guests with double bed in bedroom, double sleeper couch or 2 single bed sleeper couches in lounge  and bathroom (with bath, no shower). These are ideal units for a small family. Nice verandah with braai.

We have a luxury unit which is ideal for a Honeymoon Couple. It sleeps 6 and has 2 bedrooms, main en-suite with double bed, second bedroom with 2 single beds and separate bathroom. Double bed sleeper couch in lounge. Nice verandah with braai.

There is a lovely open-plan cottage  which is ideal for one couple, or a couple with small children. It is Sparkling new! Wonderful little "love nest". It has a double bed and sleeper couch and its own private verandah with braai and is close to the swimming pool.

The Fig Tree Self Catering Cabin is a 2 bedroom duplex cottage which sleeps 4. Upstairs is a bedroom with 2 single beds that can be combined to make double bed, lounge. On the ground floor is a bedroom with double bed, bathroom, kitchen and verandah. It has lovely spacious rooms, TV, fans in rooms. It is close to the swimming pool.

Pensioner's Haven is our private guest rondawel and does not form part of the main lodge. It is centrally situated in our large garden, next to the house, about 70 meters from the lodge. Pensioners' Haven also has its own private braai facilitues and is ideal for pensioners or small families. It sleeps 3 guests. There is a double bed, single bed, open-plan self catering kitchen, bathroom with shower, toilet and handbasin. Book 5 days and get one day free!

On the farm you can walk to the river and do bird watching and enjoy whatever the country offers. Just share your interest and Africa desires with us and we will do our utmost to make these things happen! Don’t rush your holiday rather enjoy it!

Our rates per night are: One 3 bedroom cottage sleeping 6-8 guests with private swimming pool: R800 - R1500 depending on season. One 2 bedroom duplex cottage sleeping 4-6 guests: R650 - R1100 depending  on season. Two 1 bedroom cottages sleeping 2-4 guests: R350-R700 depending on season. Open plan Cottage R350-R600 depending on season.
