Our Guesthouse was named after the famous Gold Nugget weighing 179 ounces, found by prospector H W Peacock on 3 July 1912 at Kaapsehoop near Barberton. We are well known for our service and hospitality.

The Gold Nugget Guest house is situated in Barberton "The Gem of the Lowveld". The large farm style house with lovely stoep to sit, is surrounded by a beautiful tranquil garden with prolific birdlife.

We offer 7 comfortable rooms each with en-suite bathrooms, tv, bar fridge and braai entertainment area. We serve delicious breakfasts and dinners on the stoep or in the restaurant.

You can relax under the lapa, cool down in the swimming pool or jacuzzi or just in the garden while enjoying refreshments from our bar or restaurant.
