On a still day, you will hear the call of the fish eagles nesting at Stanford Lake. If you are up early, you may just see a bush buck or duiker in the forest and some guests have been fortunate to see the otters catching their morning breakfast in the dam.
Accommodation is provided via 2, 4 and 6 sleeper, fully equipped self catering cottages with fireplaces. The property has a swimming pool and tennis court and beautiful gardens.The self-catering chalets are fully equipped with all bedding, towels and cooking utensils. Braai facilities are also available.
Activities include trout fishing, swimming pool, tennis, birding, biking, hiking or just relaxing in front of a crackling log fire. Team building, quad biking, kloofing, tubing, abseiling and paintball are available at our associate in the mountains close by as also Ebenezer, Tzaneen and Dap Naude dams, Debengeni falls and Woodbush National forest.
The Kruger National Park Northern gates are only an hour and a half’s drive away on good roads and therefore, Cheerio is an ideal stop over to the Kruger and other private game parks.
