Sanyati Nature Farm is located within the mist belt on the Ngotshe mountain near Ithala Game Reserve / Louwsburg, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa (malaria free). This region has a moderate climate with high rainfall during summer.
The reserve offers truly spectacular scenery and incredible bio-diversity that includes 224 species of birds and a range of game species including the occasional leopard.

Two Semi-luxery Safari Tents sleep 1 or 2 people each from R220p/p/p/n. It is sufficiently equipped for self-catering and raised on a wooden deck in a beautiful bush setting with excellent ablution facilities nearby.
The 5-sleeper Cottage offers more luxury from R270p/p/p/n. Two rooms: one with double bed and another with bunk & single bed. Also: bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and entrance hall. The spacious lounge walks out on a patio with stunning view. Outdoors dining area with fireplace, boma and splash pool adds to the allure of this unit.
For larger groups of 5/more we also offer the Valley Camp available from R 240 p/p/p/n. This is a truly secluded bush retreat accessible by 4X4 only. You'll get the entire camp exclusively (No Eskom). It consists of a four-sleeper chalet with separate bathroom, an eight-sleeper chalet with en-suite bathroom, a central kitchen / lounge / fireplace / bar area with patio overlooking magnificent view and outdoors braai areas. It is fully equipped for self-catering. The Camp is rustic, yet very comfortable, and was built with natural rock and thatch close to a stream in a spectacular setting with game all around.
All guests have access to our nature trails, reptile park and optional activities (including bush drives, reptile demonstrations, fishing and absailing). We offer very good value for money and a 'base' from which to visit Ithala Game Reserve where they have 4 of the big 5 (only 3km down the road).
The reptile park features a wide range of species including some of the most venomous and biggest snakes in earth and the Nile crocodile. Very impressive demonstrations can be arranged at an extra charge per group.
