Situated in the malaria free Eastern Cape 1 ½ hours from Port Elizabeth airport, is the Tsitsikamma which is the gateway to the Garden Route, (the name Tsitsikamma is the Khoisan word for the place of many waters). The reserve is situated 230 metres above sea level on the edge of the escarpment with a 180 degrees view of the Indian Ocean, and the view to the north is the Tsitsikamma mountain range.

The area is classified as one of the most temperate climates in the world, making this area a hikers paradise 12 months of the year Misty Mountain Reserve is the center point of the new luxury hiking trail called “The Dolphin Trail”. We boundary onto the famous Tsitsikamma National Park the largest marine reserve in South Africa.

Our Small Country-Style Retreat has 8 Luxury Units overlooking the Indian Ocean as well as beautiful views of Forest and Tsitsikamma Mountains. Venue for the middle point of the Luxury Dolphin Trail.

We have three luxurious Honeymoon Chalets. All Luxury chalets with spa-bath, shower, bath robes & slippers, tea tray complimentary sherry and chocolate. Open plan with 180-degree view of the Indian Ocean. TV (dstv), fire places, private braai facilities at each chalet, swimming pool, bar lounge, restaurant etc. Braai packs available(Bar Fridge filled on request).

Each of the Luxury Honeymoon chalets is beautifully decorated with all of the above luxuries, as well as having its own private deck from the bathroom with a sea view or a forest view, Bedroom with a 180-degree view of the Indian Ocean, A separate lounge area with a fire place, Bar fridge etc. (Bar fridge filled on request.)

Our Luxury Wooden Self-catering chalet has two bedrooms with their own bathrooms each (both with showers), a lounge with tv/dstv. The chalet also boasts a magnificent 180 degree seaview and has all the necessary amenities to offer full self catering facilities to our visitors. There are two wooden chalets that also have a self-catering kitchenette with griller, microwave, kettle, cutlery etc, however breakfast is still included in the price.
