| In order to make the Limpopo Bush 2 Beach Expedition as flexible as possible, the starting point of the guided tour is in Phalaborwa, Limpopo, and the finishing point in Johannesburg. This will allow you to travel via a selection of beautiful routes up to Phalaborwa.
Try the 'Cultural Route' through Venda: the 'Scenic and Birding Route' through Magoebaskloof or even the 'Panorama Route' via the Blyde River Canyon before reaching Phalaborwa, where the expedition commences.
Any of these routes between Johannesburg and Phalaborwa can be developed into an optional add-on to the 12-day Limpopo Bush 2 Beach tour, either as a self drive or guided tour. Below we have worked out the itineraries with rates on a guided basis. Rates for a self drive tour, with rental car, are available on request.

| 3-Day Cultural Route Add-on (Johannesburg-Shiluvari Lodge-Phalaborwa)
Meet your guide and depart Johannesburg, winding your way northwards into Venda, the heartland of Limpopo and 'Land of Legends'.
Arrive late afternoon and enjoy the comfort of Shiluvari Lakeside Lodge situated on the banks of the Levuvhu River.

After a sumptuous breakfast the following morning, visit the wealth of arts and crafts on the Ribolla Artist’s Route. Enjoy the community hospitality during your visit to Mashamba and MukhondeniVillages.
World renowned woodcarvers, Venda drum makers and potters such as Jackson Hlungwani will be visited.
We will leave the Zoutpansberg plateau, the next day, as we descend into the Lowveld and travel through rural Limpopo, visiting a unique bar in the world’s largest Baobab tree before reaching Phalaborwa.

Enjoy dinners and hearty breakfasts in their award winning restaurant during your stay. The second day is spent exploring the famous Panorama Route. Our guide will show you the Blyde River Canyon, Burkes Luck Potholes, Gods Window, Lisbon Falls as well as the picturesque towns of Graskop, Sabie and Pilgrims Rest.
On day 3 you will head further north past the Drakensberg Mountains to Phalaborwa, where your Bush 2 Beach Expedition will commence.

3-Day Scenic & Birding Route Add-on (Johannesburg-Kuris Moya-Phalaborwa)
Meet your guide and leave Johannesburg behind you as you travel north to the Norther Drakensberg escarpment. Kurisa Moya is situated between the Highveld and the Lowveld and thus offers beautiful indigenous forest nestled in the valley, pine plantations and African bushveld. It is home to a large variety of extraordinary birds, animals and flora.
After a hearty dinner and a good nights' rest, an experienced guide will take you on a guided birding walk the next morning. Enjoy nature walks, fly-fishing, abseiling, mountain biking and even cranio-sacral therapy. Kurisa Moya, meaning Traquil Spirit will revive your soul.
