This stylish 1830 homestead is centrally situated in the heart of the port capital of South Africa, Calitzdorp, overlooking port vineyards and within walking distance of all the wineries,galleries, shops and museum in town.
The thatch-roof homestead in karoo and victorian architecture has large vine-covered patios, where you can enjoy the karoo sunset, scrumptious dinners and breakfasts. Relax in the lush garden and fragrant rose garden, or by the sparkling pool. Home-cooked meals are made from local and predominantly organic produce.
We also cater for vegetarians and special dietry requirements/intolerances. We have a full liquor license and have a comprehensive selection of local wines and ports available. Cozy fireplaces help to warm cold winter nights. there are ten luxury bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and most with four-poster beds. We also have accommodation for disabled guests.
