Connemara Close is rapidly becoming a destination in its own right and a place to dally and tarry for those touring the Escarpment and Bushveld on the way to Kruger National Park. The Numbi Gate is a little more than an hour away.
Our sandstone, architecture designed cottages nestled close to the edge of the two fully stocked trout dams. The rustic look is harmony with the terrain and provides a contemporary reflection of old Dullstroom, with its sandstone building, charming facades and chimneys topped by gentle spirals of wood smoke.
All units in Connemara Close are fully equipped and serviced to ensure home-from-home comfort. Guests can prepare their own meals in modern, well appointed kitchens. Alternatively, nearby country pubs and restaurants will become those planning an evening of jollification or looking to eat out. Our cottages are individually let or taken by a whole group – Either tour groups or corporate visitors intend to teambuilding away from the distractions of the city.
Moving a touch above the rest, Connemara Close offers two distinctive choices of accommodation. The Director’s Unit is ideal for the visitor who is use to the best. It’s spacious with a main bedroom leading on to an en-suite bathroom and spa bath. A rustic fireplace and hearth provide an imposing centerpiece to this master bedroom. The second bedroom also boast its own fireplace and en-suite bathroom, with the third bedroom that offers twin beds and a separate shower and guest toilet. The kitchen provides every thing the self-caterer ever desires. Meanwhile, a central fireplace provides a focal point where you are in the lounge, dining room or bar.
Internal accommodation is complemented by a spacious patio affording breath-taking views. Our Executive units would fall into the deluxe category anywhere else. These units also feature quality finishes and tasteful furnishings for those used to leisure living. The main bedroom has its own open fireplace and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom features twin beds, separate shower and guest toilet. The open plan kitchen and lounge offer all the comforts of home. Once again, the central fireplace provides a striking centerpiece, though the patio and its panoramic vista may temp you away.
All units have a double lock – up garage.
