This unique retreat nestles in an amphitheatre of beautiful mountains. The gardens feature spectacular views, an open air shower and numerous pools and water features fed by mountain spring water.
Guests may roam safely in the 5000 acre nature reserve with spectacular bird life and a wide range of habitats and animals. The labyrinth offers space for quiet contemplation and secluded reflection.
Perched quietly on a mountain overlooking the valley below, this unspoilt haven consists of 8 luxury en-suite double rooms all uniquely crafted with loving care and attention to detail. Perfectly designed as a retreat centre for the spiritually minded, Boondocks Mountain Lodge can accommodate workshops, spiritual groups and natural healing sessions with sensitivity towards the dietary needs of each guest. The Lodge offers a natural healing environment complimented by the restoring power of mountain spring water. The spring feeds many water features including plunge pools, sit-in pools, all the showers plus an outdoor shower. There is also a jacuzzi and a steam room.
The Mountain Lodge is also available for self catering groups who have a tranquil and peaceful breakaway in mind. There is one unit which consists of three on-suite double rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. It features a sit-in pool, a firepit/braai area and a huge veranda.
R1000 weekdays and R1500 weekends and holidays. We also let it at R205 on weekdays and R350 during the weekends and holidays per person per night.
The main lodge can accommodate up to ten people in five double en-suite bedrooms and a large luxury, fully equipped kitchen. It includes a lounge, dining area, stoep and braai pit.
Day visitors are welcome for a lunch and labyrinth experience, R150 per person, but please call first. This truly is a tranquil and magical healing space. 20 minutes from Kruger Park.
