Nyala River Lodge is situated on the banks of the Mohlabetsi River and shaded by enormous ebony trees. It boasts a viewing deck, which is under the shady branches of a Scotia tree and overlooks a waterhole ( carefully positioned in front of the safari game lodge and permanently floodlit ) and a large dry riverbed. Hours in between activities can be spent in leisure observing animals visiting the waterhole or relaxing by the pool. .

The accommodation at our safari game lodge is of a luxury standard ensuring your stay is an enjoyable one. Nyala accommodates 10 guests in 5 en-suite chalets. We offer a nicely decorated dining and lounge area and an outside Lapa and braai area.

The self catering rate includes: accommodation, 2 game drives per day, fully serviced camp each day. Excluded: food supplies, drinks, firewood, gate entrance of R70 per vehicle, additional activities.

Whilst the safari game lodge is surrounded by a secure fence to ensure the safety of our guests, there is still the opportunity for smaller wildlife such as monkeys, antelope and a variety of birds to frequent the lodge. Make your family holiday the adventure of a lifetime with activities such as horse riding through a private game reserve on one of our horse trails. The total experience at the lodge contributes to the high referral rate of our visitors, but you will be the judge!
