20 Palm Grove is centrally situated on the Durban Area, set in a tropical garden with 2 swimming pools, 7 minutes drive from the city centre and 10 minutes from the beach front. All major sports venues including golf courses, rugby, cricket, soccer, swimming, athletics, cycling, hockey and tennis stadiums are within 8 minutes travel time of our guest house. Also in close proximity to three private hospitals the University of Natal and a number of schools.



Durban's warm tropical climate; diverse mixture of African, Indian and European cultures; varied topography; and central location ensures that visitors have plenty to experience, savour and absorb: from cultural tours to sporting activities and events; international conferences to nature reserves and mountain hikes.



Accommodation is offered in 5 Self Catering units and 4 En-suite rooms.

Cottage 1 ( sleeps 2 ) and 2 ( sleeps 4) are at the top of our garden with remote control garage access. Each has a living room including a kitchenette with kettle , toaster , microwave , fridge , 2 plate hob and utensils to prepare meals. The bedrooms , each sleep 2 guests with en suite shower , toilet & basin. Extra's include a T.V , telephone , air conditioning , hair dryer and overhead fans. These cottages have a lovely view of our tropical garden and swimming pool area.



Arum Cottage is our largest self catering cottage , complete with a full kitchen : free standing oven , fridge , microwave oven , kettle , toaster , crockery , cutlery and utensils to prepare your meals. Breakfast counter opens onto dining room with 6 seater dining table ,which leads off onto a lounge area with double sleeper bed.

There are 2 bathrooms , one with a bath and the other with a shower. Main bedroom with air conditioning , built in safe and hairdryer. T.V , telephone , tea/coffee tray. Arum cottage has a small veranda and a path leading off the lounge to our 2nd swimming pool.



Cottage 4 is also a Self Catering cottage with en suite bathroom(shower), air conditioning in main bedroom , telephone , T.V , hair dryer , built in safe and tea/coffee tray. Kitchenette includes a 2 plate hob , microwave oven , kettle , toaster , fridge , crockery, cutlery and utensils to prepare meals.



The Loft is an open planned self catering apartment overlooking the pool area , with ensuite bathroom(shower) , air conditioning in entire living area , telephone , T.V , hair dryer , built in safe and tea/coffee tray.

Kitchenette includes a 2 plate hob , microwave oven , kettle , toaster , fridge , crockery, cutlery and utensils to prepare meals.



Annexe is a tastefully decorated B&B suite , featuring a brass double bedand copper fire place. Ensuite bathroom(shower) , air conditioning in main bedroom , telephone , T.V , hair dryer , built in safe and tea/coffee tray.

Situated alongside the main house with private entrance and outside garden to enjoy.



Yellow Room  is furnished with a double bed , windows open to view our tropical garden. Ensuite bathroom(shower) , air conditioning in main bedroom , telephone , T.V , hair dryer , built in safe and tea/coffee tray.



The Pool Room is a B&B suite that offers you the view of our 2nd swimming pool. Including an en suite bathroom , air conditioning in bedroom , T.V ,telephone , hair dryer , built in safe and tea/coffee tray.



Upstairs Suite is a beautiful upstairs B&B suite in the main house , with 2 bedrooms which share an en suite bathroom. Room one has 2 single beds and room two has a single bed. This suite is ideal for those wanting to share accommodation but have the luxury of separate rooms. En suite bathroom has a separate shower and bath. Both rooms have air conditioning , built in safe and hairdryers, room 2 has T.V . telephone , tea/coffee tray.
