Enjoy the luxury of delightful bathrooms and revel in the privacy of sunset dining in your own indigenous garden. The smell of “braaivleis” amidst the country sounds of birds and animals is almost a forgotten fantasy for Local South Africans. A small dairy herd provides fresh farm milk, cream and homemade butter. We also supply tea, filter coffee, sugar and home baked rusks for you each day. DSTV is strategically placed in each cottage, lest we forget about our sports enthusiasts or Movie Lovers. Relaxation is of utmost importance, and your cottage is fully serviced by our friendly, trustworthy staff. Keeping you safe is 24 hour security with access control.

For our family lovers, we offer the perfect children’s haven - Milking time is a favourite and who can resist the creatures, calves, chickens and geese that run free on the farm? Breakfast and light lunches are served at the Waterlily Tea Garden, or alternatively meals can be delivered to your cottage. For restaurant lovers there are top class restaurants within a five kilometer radius. Choices include the famous Casalinga Italian Restaurant and the more family orientated Alfresco Restaurant.

Take a stroll to one of the largest and most enchanting nurseries in South Africa. This nursery invites you to witness the dedication in growing and promoting our country’s finest indigenous plants. Walking through this botanical wonderland filled with rare indigenous plants and prolific bird life you will be transported to a new kind of peace and tranquility.

Aptly named are our cottages – each one uniquely christened after an Indigenous Tree that you will find planted in the gardens. We do this in honour of our absorbing commitment to the conservation and promotion of these special plants. Our pride is reflected in the spotlessness of our cottages, and the high level of maintenance is mandatory and essential in making your visit as comfortable as if you were in your own home.

Yellowwood, and Lavender Tree cottages have a bath and stand up bath showering facilities.

Sagewood, Lemon Thorn, Wild Olive, Bushwillow and Rock Fig have full bathrooms with separate baths and showers.

Sweet Thorn offers you the ultimate bathing experience with its lavish corner bath. In all our bathrooms you can expect superior quality towels, and a delightful bathroom box consisting of soap, hand cream, shampoo, shower cap, and other helpful necessities.

Excluding Wild Olive and Rock Fig, all the cottages have kitchens that are fully equipped including a microwave. They are provided with fresh farm milk, homemade butter and cream daily. We also top up the filter coffee, tea, sugar and rusks daily.

Wild Olive and Rock Fig have only a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities including the fresh farm milk etc. All cottages include braai (BBQ) facilities, and we will provide the charcoal and prepare the fire, if, it be your wish. All cottages include comfy beds with fine mattresses and quality linens. Each cottage has a unique style of décor and soft furnishings.

Lavender Tree is our biggest, and has a large bedroom for two as well as a comfortable day bed in the lounge area for another person.

Wild Olive and Sweet Thorn Cottages offer an interleading door, as do Bushwillow and Rock Fig for larger families.

Sagewood, Bushwillow and Wild Olive Cottages are wheelchair friendly.

Patios give way to private indigenous gardens and melodious sounds of nature. Sit, braai, but mostly enjoy the peace and tranquility as they seep into your soul. Under the evening stars, enjoy the sounds of the African night – birds, frogs, and perhaps …even the jackal. How better do you melt the stress of our modern life?
